The project
A live online tutoring platform for a European client. Parents choose a teacher for their child, lessons run on Zoom, payments go through MangoPay. The project was built from scratch, after two abandoned directions during the internship: a mobile app, then a bot.
What I delivered
The administration space and its web services: account activation (email, MangoPay account, Zoom account for teachers), parent-teacher relationships with a free trial lesson, monthly purchase orders, teacher pay per minute of lesson, payment requests and invoices (amounts before and after tax, monthly download).
My contributions
Dynamic search across teachers and students, drop-down lists optimised for large datasets, and the Zoom API integration, from creating the teacher account to recording meetings.
What can be checked
The code belongs to the client. What remains is the data model, the project schedule and the bachelor's thesis that presents it.
